Hi, I’m Alex!
I’m a self taught artist, nurse, and life long animal lover! I’ve been a professional artist for 6 years but have been drawing for as long as I can remember. I started drawing all over the margins of my notebooks in school and have been yelled at by ALL my teachers ever since!
I have always been an animal lover so drawing pet portraits as a professional artist was a no-brainer! I currently have 6 animals total (1 horse, 2 cats, 2 rabbits, and 1 dog!).
I’ve developed my own personal style over the years and specialize in dramatic lighting and making your pet pop off the paper!
My goal is to leave this world more beautiful than I found it! 🎨
About the artist
Besides art, one of my biggest passions in life is horses! I’ve been riding horses since I was 5 so 23 years total. I’ve owned 3 horses in my life, Kid, Smugly and Rose. I have owned my current horse Rose since she was 3 years old and have done all the training on her myself. We compete in the hunters together!
My husband and I have been together for 6 years and married for 1! He supports me in everything I do and I’m so thankful for him.
