Hand-drawn

 PET PORTRAITS

Make your pet come to life!

All portraits are hand drawn on bristol paper using prismacolor markers, pencil and white gel pen. Markers used are high quality and won’t fade over time if stored properly.

Portraits can be customized to include name plates with the pets name, and added halters/bridles/collars for any pet.

Any subject welcome, cats, dogs, horses, lions and tigers and bears oh my! I’ve even been commissioned to draw a dolphin! As long as you have a good reference picture, I can draw just about anything.

GREAT REFERENCE PHOTO

EXAMPLES

Even though some of these images can be a little pixelated (not preferred but I can make it work), they all have GREAT lighting which is so important for my specific style!

In order for me to make your pet POP off the page, I need great lighting and a great pose. I can do pets that are directly facing the camera but prefer to have pets that are a little bit angled away from the camera.

If you ever have any questions whether or not I can draw an image, please feel free to email me before hand so that I can let you know if it’s good enough to draw!

IMPORTANT NOTE: The better the reference image, the more realistic I can make the drawing! Choose a reference with good lighting, good composition and a good pose. If you aren’t sure if it’s good, please reach out to me, I’m more than happy to help!

Usually I ask for at least 5 good pictures. But the more the merrier (only if they are good composition please! I love a good personality pic but unless you want it displayed in your home, don’t send it to me!)

As of right now, I’m not a full-time artist so it can be hard to promise specific turnaround times. When you order, I’ll give you the due date I’ll have for myself to get it done! I usually try to keep this 2-6 weeks within ordering but can be shorter or longer than that depending on my work load. If you really need it done by a specific date, there is a rush fee you can add on that will guarantee you get it by that time! (FYI I need at least a two day heads up to be able to get it done in time!)

(If I don’t get you the drawing by the due date I tell you, you’ll get a nice little surprise along with your portrait as a thank you for being so understanding! It’s incredibly frustrating for me that I can’t do this full time and I want to make sure all my customers are happy.)

Turn Around Time

I will always make sure you are 100% satisfied with your portrait before I send it to you! I will send you the final image and ask if anything looks weird to you or if anything needs to be changed.

I promise you will not offend me! You spend more time with your pet and I only get about 5 pictures so you are definitely the expert!! 99% of things are fixable and if they aren’t fixable, I will redo the drawing at no cost to you.

Portraits are send out in photo mailers that are between two pieces of cardboard with a fragile sticker on them. I have never had a problem with shipping (knock on wood!!) but if your portrait arrives and it’s damaged, I will send you a high quality print of the portrait free of charge!
